BELIZE AGGRESSOR III
August 13 - August 20, 2005

Join HUC trip leaders Sarah Lee and Mark Metz on the Belize Aggressor III, the all-new 110-foot vessel, built in 1996.  It is all aluminum and provides cruising and diving in unparalleled luxury.  You will dive the world’s second largest Great Barrier Reef with over 200 miles of living reef, deep-water drop-offs and an intricate system of atolls and cayes.  The sites, 30-60 miles offshore, are surrounded by unspoiled coral reefs teeming with marine life.  A plunge into the mysterious Blue Hole will make your trip truly memorable.  Sheer walls feature huge crimson gorgonians and giant, orange elephant ear sponge.  Between dives, enjoy a walk on Half Moon Caye, and explore the bird sanctuary, where you’ll meet pink-footed boobies, frigate birds, native iguanas and a lighthouse built in 1848.  There is an abundance of above water fun in Belize too.  Action packed tours are also offered including: a fabulous boat ride on the New River through jungle and rainforest, or exploring ancient Mayan ruins; and for the energetic, a cave tubing adventure!  The price includes round-trip air via Continental Airlines from Houston to/from Belize City, airport transfers, departure tax, port fee, Half Moon Caye park fee and the recompression chamber fee, all diving, meals (exclusive Friday evening) and local liquor (name brand alcohol is offered at local prevailing prices), all tanks, weights, weight belt, air refills (consistent with safe diving practices), and pre & post trip parties.  Not included are Nitrox fills, Tips, and Government Sales Tax of 8% for onboard purchases.
